Financial data in a chat is a one-off snapshot. A SheetsFinance workbook is a working model: live, traceable, editable and yours.
DCF valuation, WACC, Graham number, DuPont, earnings, ETF analysis, dividend calculators and more. The assistant picks the closest model and hands you a copy with your ticker entered.
For anything the published models don't cover, it plans validated SheetsFinance formulas and builds a new workbook around them, with your inputs, labels and calculations.
It looks up the arguments, metrics and options of every SheetsFinance function, so the formulas it writes work as written. It can search our docs too.
Name the ticker and your platform. The assistant picks a published model or builds a new workbook.
“Build a DCF valuation model for NVDA that I can open in Excel.”
“I use Google Sheets. Give me a WACC calculator for Tesla.”
“Make an Excel workbook comparing gross and operating margins for AAPL, MSFT and GOOGL over the last five years.”
“Build a dividend tracker in Google Sheets for KO, PEP and JNJ with yield and payout ratio.”
“Create a quarterly earnings sheet for MSFT with revenue, EPS and estimates.”
“What's the SheetsFinance formula for Apple's quarterly revenue and EPS?”

Working in Claude in Excel? Claude can write SheetsFinance formulas straight into the workbook you have open.
The connector never returns prices, statements or ratios as text. Ask for a value and your assistant gives you the model or the =SF formula that shows it.
Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, plus any other AI assistant or developer tool that supports custom MCP servers, such as Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. Add https://data.sheetsfinance.com/mcp as a custom connector. Claude allows it on every plan. ChatGPT allows it on Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces, and Gemini on personal Google Accounts in the US.
There's no separate charge for the connector. You need a SheetsFinance account, and new accounts start with a 15-day free trial, no card required. The files your assistant makes load the data your plan includes.
SheetsFinance data is licensed for use in your spreadsheet, so the tools never return financial values in chat. The assistant gives you a model or the =SF formula, and the data loads in your workbook through the add-on and keeps refreshing there.
Yes. The add-on loads the data into the files your assistant makes. Until it has loaded, formulas show #NAME? (or #BUSY! in Excel). Excel offers to add the add-in when you open the file. In Google Sheets, open Extensions → SheetsFinance → Account once in your copy.
Yes. On the sign-in page, choose to connect with a team Connection ID and paste the one from your admin. The assistant then uses the team connection's plan and data access.
Each connection can create up to 50 files a day and make up to 150 requests an hour. Download and copy links work for 7 days, so save the file or make your copy to keep it.
No. The connector can look up SheetsFinance functions and create new files for you. It can't open your existing spreadsheets, see your billing details or change your account. Disconnect an assistant any time from your Account page.
